 Mr. Styron graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and from UC-Hastings College of the Law. He has practiced in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties since 1976. He has represented clients in all types of family law matters, in civil matters involving personal injury, property, and business relationships, and in consumer, business and contested bankruptcy proceedings. He has successfully prosecuted appeals to the California courts of appeal, the California Supreme Court, the federal Ninth Circuit, and the 9th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panels. Mr. Styron has been a leader in the Contra Costa Bar in developing mediation programs for family law matters. He has also written for the Contra Costa Bar Journal on the subjects of family faw, family law mediation and the uses of computers in the efficient practice of law. |
